TESTIMONIALS
My experience with Maida was perfect. We had a 1-year-old daughter when the twins were born. Personally, I was a little hesitant about the method, partly due to my ignorance or prejudices. But we had no other choice, so we started. The crying was never alarming because it's not just about getting the baby to sleep at night; naps are just as important... being at home calmly... respecting their space, etc. So it wasn't difficult for us at all. We followed all the instructions to the letter, and now the girls have an amazing relationship with sleep. I put one to sleep, and sometimes I walk into the room to put the other to bed, and the one already there smiles at me. I say hello to both of them and leave. Not a single cry. These days, you hear so many things about parenting and what to do. Everyone has their own path, their own way, and their own intuition. I chose to let myself be helped, and Maidu was like an angel to us. It was also very reassuring for us to have a direction, a way of doing things, to have someone to support and guide us, which is great, and it also speaks to one's humility in allowing oneself to be helped.
Maida! Well, first of all, I WANT TO SAY THANK YOU! Honestly, these last two weeks have been SO crucial in improving the quality of life for the WHOLE FAMILY, and here I go with some comments. I truly felt like it was a huge win how SUPER present and willing you were always, with the best attitude, fun and relaxed, which was very important for me because I entered these plans with prejudices, so it was very important for me to meet someone who showed me that human quality. SO THANK YOU. I liked these two weeks checking sleep windows, sleep hygiene, starting to read Maia more—I liked how you brought all of this more into the realm of consciousness, right? Lastly, the pep talk (is that what it's called? haha), the comforting phrases, the "you can do it" coaching basically, were everything. Obviously, if I were alone, Maia would take naps with me for eternity, haha.
I contacted GoodNightSleeper to begin establishing a routine for Antonia from the moment she was born. We learned the importance of naps and respecting sleep windows during the day. At night, Maida gave me tips on creating a bedtime ritual and helping Antonia learn to sleep alone in her crib. Today, at two months old, I can say it's challenging at first, but worth trying again and again. It's a sometimes frustrating journey, but with the support of our sleep coach, everything is easier.
Maida, I wanted to thank you for all the help and guidance you provided! We went from having six nights of waking up and having to carry Rufi or feed her to get her to sleep, to nights of only one waking up and her falling asleep on her own. Thank you for your patience, for being so clear, and for encouraging us that it was possible! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Maida, I'd like to thank you for these past two weeks. You did an excellent job. Honestly, it was difficult for me to keep up with the conversations in the group, but I was always aligned and aware of everything. Thank you for your availability and personalized support. It was key to achieving everything we did!

Hi Maida! I wanted to write to you calmly! We read everything. First of all, THANK YOU!!!!!!!! I wanted to tell you that we miss you, it was a great day today. Very good naps and the little one has been sleeping since 7:20 pm without waking up... now it's 10:30 pm Thank you for being SO close... For explaining everything to us a million times, for your patience... For making me, in my case, trust myself more, and above all, trust her. In us... In this new family team. Seriously, THANK YOU. Nice to meet you. I hope life crosses our paths with the little ones one day. THANK YOU FROM THE HEART. We hug you and wish you a tremendous end of the year!! THANK YOU!!!!
Maida's intervention in Benito's sleep was incredible. I contacted her desperate, only sleeping 2 to 4 hours a day because my baby thought nighttime was for playing. I had read a lot about sleep and was hesitant to hire such a service because I thought I was already doing everything. Maida instantly understood what my family and I needed! We opted for an intensive plan. She was there for us through every consultation, question, and frustration when we didn't know what we were doing wrong. With a lot of dedication, we were able to get Benito to sleep through the night!
Maida was very clear and transparent from the beginning. She conveyed the plan and the next steps in our first meeting in a simple way so we could understand them, but she was open to providing as much information as possible based on our questions. Daily follow-up was key to clarifying specific concerns and addressing them in the best way at that time, so as not to lose progress. She was always responsive and also constantly in touch to ensure we were on the right track. As an opportunity for improvement, I think it would have been nice to receive more recommendations on what to do or how to handle it when, for some reason, we didn't follow the plan during the day or night. I felt very supported throughout the process and sensed a commitment from her to make this work. Thank you so much!
I'm Paz, a mother of twins, and at four and a half months old, I started working with Maida. Since then, the girls have been sleeping for 12 hours straight. Something I thought was impossible (I had already experienced having a daughter who didn't sleep well). Thanks to the work we did together as a team with a lot of love and dedication, we were able to achieve it. It wasn't just about getting the girls to sleep well, but also about establishing order, a routine, which is so necessary when you have several children. I also noticed that it was crucial that the girls understood that they could fall asleep on their own, wake up on their own without panicking. So I speak for my entire family when I thank Maida for her effort and commitment. I know what it's like not to sleep, and now I know what it's like to sleep, and it's a fundamental key to being able to spend the day with the boys. Eternally grateful.
Choosing Maida to help us learn to sleep alone was the best decision we could have made. In our case, our daughter slept well, but when she turned one during the holidays, she started sleeping worse, waking up and asking for milk at night, and we all began to feel affected. We asked Maida for help, and in just a few days, Alexia learned to sleep alone in her crib during the night and during naps. It was magical. Maida is empathetic but at the same time transmits a lot of security and good vibes to face the change. I 100% recommend her to anyone who needs help with their sleep!
From the moment we contacted Maida for Paz's sleep consultation, we felt very comfortable and confident with the person who would be with us for the next 14 days. We submitted the form with the required information, had an initial call of approximately one hour, and then received the plan to follow, which was very well adapted to Paz and what we found comfortable and appropriate for our daughter. The method chosen and implemented was the "chair method," which worked very well for us. Throughout the process, Maida supported us and looked for alternatives/adapted the method if something didn't work as expected. We want to emphasize the confidence with which Maida always conveyed what we needed to do, and this gave us a lot of confidence; we felt we were in very good hands. In terms of results, we were completely surprised. Before starting the method, Paz would take an hour or more to fall asleep with us in the room, and during the night, she would wake up five or six times, and we would end up sleeping next to her crib on a mattress. After 14 days of the method and Maida's support, Paz falls asleep alone in her crib in less than 15 minutes and sleeps through the night. Honestly, for Paz and for us, it was a huge change in her sleep routine, and although they weren't major changes, Maida managed to identify those small things that would make a big difference. Maida's approach was always very firm regarding the concepts she conveyed and backed up by a rational justification, but at the same time, she was warm and empathetic to everything we were experiencing, which made us feel very well supported and comfortable throughout the entire process. We truly recommend anyone go through this process with Maida, regardless of their child's age. She is undoubtedly a person with great dedication and professionalism in the subject.
Thank you so much! We really appreciate it. You have a very kind way of supporting us... We felt supported, accompanied, and, above all, respected... The most important thing has been having you there, asking you questions, and always receiving support, advice, patience, and, above all, encouragement that we were on the right path! Thank you sincerely for these 14 days together!
Hi Maida. As we discussed in the early days, we'd been feeling tired for a long time, poorly rested, and had been building routines that were just patchwork to try to sleep as well as possible (albeit without much success). From the first day we had the conversation with you, we were determined that we needed to implement a sleep plan, but although we had researched or heard from friends about different methods, we either didn't have or couldn't convince ourselves what to do or how, nor did we have the conviction or agreement among ourselves to implement it. And this is where you came in to pave the way and achieve something incredible haha. As we've already told you, beyond your knowledge of what to do and the method in particular, what surprised us most, and what we valued most in this, was your human quality and closeness in your support. From giving us advice and resources for things that came up, and although some had been explained in the plan, they were very necessary when the time came, when everything shook and we needed to be more assertive. We were amazed every day by how, with the conviction and consistency you demanded and conveyed, the planned goals were being achieved. I want to thank you again for your excellent willingness to be there for us from your 6:30 a.m. wake-up time to whenever necessary, staying later than your usual hours to accompany us when we were asleep or when we had second thoughts about the previous night. Thank you for everything!
We've been parents for 5 years and never implemented any sleep method. We thought about it a million times and never followed through. I think deep down we just weren't ready. Finally, after years of extreme tiredness and needing sleep, we contacted Maida (blessed Maida). If we had known there was a Maida, we would have done it MUCH sooner haha. Regarding the method, what can I say? It's truly incredible how effective it is, how quickly you see positive changes, how quickly the family dynamics are resolved, and above all, how GOOD it is for everyone is something that really surprised me. We had heard of a thousand methods that we knew worked, but clearly something about those methods was holding us back... and here comes Maida. With Maida, we realized that the most important thing is who you do it with... in whose hands you trust all your fears, doubts, needs, and thoughts. She makes the process really easier, bearable, and makes you feel very, very supported. Maida is truly divine. Plus, she respects what parents feel, need, or think; she doesn't impose anything; she explains everything; everything she says makes sense; everything gives you peace of mind. She's pure support, pure motivation, not to mention the added bonus of being in Australia, available minute by minute during those difficult moments at night when you need help, support, explanations, to clear up doubts, whatever... she's always there, ready to help. She's a mom, like any of us: she understands and empathizes with anything that happens. Really, nothing but praise for her. We've grown very attached to her and are so grateful. Thank you, Maida!
I highly recommend seeking guidance from Maida. She organized the naps, and with that, the daily routine. Integrating a baby into a home, a couple, and life itself is a monumental change. Order, schedules, and knowing what the baby will need are key to harmony in the home. And, above all, ensuring that the mother has time for herself, to rest. I recommend starting with her from day one, from the moment you are discharged. Choosing the right pediatrician is just as important as good sleep for mother and child.
I first approached Maida about my son Simon's naps (he was 4 months old at the time). Fortunately, he slept very well at night, but it was impossible to get him to sleep for more than 30 minutes alone during naps (he started perfectly fine in his crib but would wake up after 30 minutes, and I would have to extend his nap by holding him). My days revolved around me putting him to sleep in my arms, thinking that at some point this would end because he would learn to sleep longer. It was a bit unsustainable.
With great care and dedication, Maida began to help me. Although my question was specifically about naps, she took a more holistic approach, and we began adjusting Simon's entire routine (nighttime sleep schedule, length of waking windows, etc.). But above all, beyond the very useful theoretical advice, Maida was deeply involved and supported us unconditionally. Even from a distance, she was always attentive and encouraged me not to give up. With the confidence her support gave me, gradually some naps began to extend on their own, while others needed a little help. But she was always there to support me.
While we were in this process, Simon went through his 4-month sleep regression, and Maida's help here was invaluable. She helped me navigate it without creating new associations or sleep habits we couldn't maintain. Having her by our side to give us encouragement and strength was crucial. In addition to being a sleep coach, she was also a psychologist and friend.
I have no hesitation in recommending her. You can always work on your children's dreams to help them be better, healthier, and happier, but especially for the well-being of the entire family. And with her knowledge, experience as a mother, and especially her human qualities, she is undoubtedly an excellent choice!
